I’m still struggling with my covid recovery which has me with some measure of ‘brain fog’, but not enough not for me not to notice or to be impressed with some recent breaking news in the robotics field.

Humanoid robotics startup Figure, has managed to raise a huge $675 million round that makes this all more possible.

Jeff Bezos, Nvidia, OpenAI, Microsoft, & Amazon are backing 'Figure AI', a startup developing human-like robots, is raising $675M, valuing the company at ~$2B

Bezos contributes $100M, Microsoft $95M, with Nvidia and Amazon each investing $50M.
